From crime thrillers to rom-coms, Korean dramas are still killing it
As 2018 draws to a close, some of the best Korean dramas of this year are sneaking onto our screens to make the festive season a truly entertaining one. We're obsessed with the new Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum series "Encounter," which has been shattering records. Other melodramas, comedies and thrillers released this end-of-year also prove that K-dramas have still got it. The following seven dramas are still ongoing, so you can look forward to catching new episodes every week! The best part of it is, you can stream all these shows for free now on Viu!
7. Less Than Evil (also known as Bad Detective)
Inspired by the popular British crime series Luther, Less Than Evil follows veteran detective Woo Tae Seok (played by Shin Ha Kyun) as he solves cases by dangerously controversial means. When he meets a female psychopathic criminal (played by Lee Seol) he could not beat, she ends up becoming his partner. Receiving many praises for its strong writing, the drama takes us on a suspenseful ride into the ethics of the justice system, as well as a dark past that Tae Seok cannot seem to escape.
Watch it on Viu every Tuesday and Wednesday.
