6. A Pledge to God
Get your tissues ready as you put on this moving melodrama about a parent’s willingness to sacrifice anything and everything to protect their child. Two married couples find their lives bitterly entangled, even after one of them, Ji-Young and Jae-Wook, gets a divorce. Together with a new husband, Ji-Young has been raising her son she had with Jae-Wook, but one day, the boy tragically gets diagnosed with leukemia. The only way to save him turns out to be a reunion with her ex-husband, to make a difficult decision neither of them ever expected to make.
