After seven albums and many more celebrity heartbreaks, John Mayer is finally coming to Singapore to perform a concert.

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and guitar maestro is jetting off on a 2019 world tour, with his first stops in Australia and Asia. He will drop by Singapore on 1 April 2019, to kick off the Asian leg of the tour. After Singapore, he will be playing Bangkok, Jakarta, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.

Venue and ticketing information have yet to be announced. Still, there’s much to be excited for already. According to his tweet, fans can look forward to “two sets of music with more songs in rotation than ever before”!

Mayer hasn’t released a new album since 2017’s The Search For Everything, but his latest single “New Light” went viral, thanks to the wacky, super ridiculous music video. It’s so bad, we love it! “Premium content,” indeed.

We hope he’ll be playing “New Light” – and maybe re-enacting some scenes from the MV? – along with his other classics, such as “Gravity,” “Why Georgia,” and “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room.”
