Fans of HBO’s Game of Thrones don’t have it easy these days. Not only will the subsequent seasons have fewer episodes, it seems like the wait for season seven just got even longer.

Game of Thrones usually airs in April but showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have come out to say that the upcoming season will most likely hit you screens later.

The cause? Apparently, the show’s typical filming locations across Europe are still enjoying their long summer, leaving film sites snow free. With the arrival of the white ravens in season six, we know that winter has come to Westeros but it appears that our earth does not want to cooperate.

How much later will we have to wait till Game of Thrones is back on our screens? It might be weeks or it might be months, but for now, we know nothing.
