1. Celebrate Spring with contemporary Italian Cuisine

Inspired by nature’s best produce, Zafferano introduces a Spring Menu marrying contemporary Italian recipes with Spring’s seasonal ingredients.

Chef Marco dedicates the menu to two parts: ‘dal mare’ (from the sea) and ‘dalla terra’ (from the land), representing seafood from the Mediterranean seas surrounding the South, and the livestock from the mountainous grasslands of the North.

Just for the month of April, Aroy Jing Jing is offering its all-you-can-eat seafood buffet at just $23.90 per person.

The seafood buffet dinner, available Tuesdays to Sundays from 6pm onwards, will feature servings of fresh slipper lobster, flower crab, half shell, scallop, clam and mussel, tiger prawn, salmon, squid as well as delectable chicken and pork belly meat skewers, all ready to be grilled over an open flame barbecue.

8. Enjoy free bird shows at Ion’s new garden

Check out Ion Orchard’s outdoor event place, Ion2, which has transformed into a spring fashion garden complete with lush greenery, colorful flowers, motion-activated plants and two majestic larger-than-life white peacock topiaries.

Between 4.30pm and 6.30pm on weekends, you can also catch interactive bird shows featuring conures, cockatoos and macaws among others.

9. Get early bird tickets to the Singapore International Festival of Arts

Taking place from Aug 11 to Sep 17, this season of SIFA includes highlights like a large-scale public installation by Ron Arad, an innovative interpretation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet performed in a suspended open-sided cube and a performance in bed produced by Fernando Rubio amongst others.

10. Customise your own reed diffusers and ceramics

11. Visit a world of tulips

The beloved “Tulipmania” returns to Gardens by the Bay, tracing tulips back to their roots in the ancient Ottoman Empire (present-day Turkey), where it was first cultivated and served as inspiration for many Turkish songs, paintings and poetry.

Be dazzled by colourful “carpets” of tulips in the Persian-inspired floral display.
