Wreck-It Ralph is back, and he’s raging even more than ever. Disney announced today that the bad-guy-turned-good, Ralph (voiced by John C Reilly), will return alongside the game-winning girl with a glitch, Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman), in an untitled sequel.

Director Rich Moore (who also helmed Zootopia and “The Simpsons”) gave a little teaser for what the sequel will entail. He said, “This time, Ralph’s wrecking wreaks havoc on the Web… [And] Characters we loved in the first film are back.”

Moore has been developing this follow-up since shortly after the release of the first film in 2012.

Slated to hit theatres in March 2018, the sequel will reunite the team from the original film, including Moore (Zootopia,” “The Simpsons”), producer Clark Spencer (Zootopia, Bolt) and writer Phil Johnston (Zootopia, Cedar Rapids).

According to Johnston, we have a lot of laughs and lumbering to look forward to. He said, “The world of the internet is the perfect place to send Ralph and Vanellope. The scope and scale are so vast and the possibilities for comedy are endless.”

Ralph will also wreck a Disney game

To celebrate this announcement, at 12pm (PT) today, mobile game “Disney Crossy Road” will be wrecked by Ralph. As players are clearing the different Disney and Pixar worlds in the game, Ralph may appear and ‘wreck’ part of their gameplay.
