Our Singapore athletes aren’t the only ones breaking records at the 28th SEA Games!

On Jun 11, more than 500 Star Learners Child Care students will attempt to make their way into the Singapore Book of Records. While the Singapore men’s water polo team competes at the Games, the students will cheer them on with duck whistles, setting a new national record for the largest number of people blowing duck whistles in one venue.

The inspiration for this new record came from Star Learners founder Tan Meng Wei, who used to be in his school water polo team. He hopes that exposure to competitive sports, will help the children pick up qualities such as team spirit, good sportsmanship, patriotism, confidence and determination. And, as the saying goes, “go big or go home”, why not set a record too??

The Star Learners kids will attempt to break the record at the Men’s Waterpolo: Singapore vs Malaysia match on Jun 11, 1.30pm at the OCBC Arena.
