8 Wildlife Babies That Were Born Last Year In Singapore

From cheeky primates to endangered amphibians, 2017 saw a total of 540 births and hatching from Wildlife Reserves Singapore

Of the new additions, over a quarter of them belong to threatened species, as the wildlife parks continue their conservation breeding efforts. Some of the little ones are already a star on their own.

So here are eight of the wildlife babies from 2017:

3. White Rhinoceros 

WRS heralded two new kings into its wildlife parks in 2017. Oban the white rhino calf frolics in his exhibit next to his mother, Donsa, in Singapore Zoo. Oban means ‘king’ in the African Yoruba language.
