For your viewing displeasure
After partying it up with zombies and monsters, don't call it a night just yet. Hang up your Halloween costume, and if you have kids, put them to bed. Then, curl up on your couch or bed, grab your favourite cushion to hide behind, and pull up one of these horror movies on your screens. Call us old-fashioned, but we think there's nothing quite like watching a scary movie at night, in the quiet of your home, that really gets you into the spooky spirit. So we put together a mix of classic and contemporary scream-worthy movies, not for the faint of heart.

3. A Quiet Place
Sure, you can scream as you watch A Quiet Place, because unlike for the characters, the sound won’t call the deadly monsters to hunt you. But this nearly silent sci-fi movie draws out the horror of silence and sound to such eerie effect, you’d be watching with wordless horror how the family (led by husband-and-wife duo Emily Blunt and John Krasinski) tries to survive oppression after an apocalypse.
