Here’s how you can race around town in a fancy sports car like an F1 driver

For the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, Uber is bringing back its Supercars on Demand function – but with an adrenaline-pumping twist.
On Saturday, 17 Sep, from 4pm-8pm, you can request for a “supercar” on Uber and find yourself driving a Lamborghini Huracan, Lamborghini Gallardo, McLaren MP4-12c or Ferrari California around the city – for a very reasonable price of $0.
Each drive will last 15 to 20 minutes and riders can drive from Marina Bay Sands to anywhere in the city and back.
Here’s how to book your “supercar”:
1. Open the Uber app between 4pm and 8pm on 17 Sep
2. Move the slider to the “Supercar” option to the right
3. If a “supercar” is available, an Uber will arrive to pick you up and bring you to your starting point
4. From there, you will get to drive either a Lamborghini, McLaren or Ferrari around the city for 15 minutes
Note that you must be within the “supercar” service areas (see map above) to make a request. Participants must be aged 21 years old and above, and unfortunately, no companions are allowed in the same “supercar” ride.
