Our “friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man” rings more true than ever this June holidays. The web-slinging Marvel superhero has swung into Singapore and set up a mini training base at Changi Airport Terminal 3!

Start the June holidays on a high note with the whole family at Spider-Man: Far From Home at Changi Airport! Ongoing now until 14 July, the special event is supported by Sony Pictures Entertainment to celebrate the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home movie before it arrives in early July. Get hyped for the movie by checking out props direct from the movie set, testing your superhero skills at an adventure playground, and even meeting the web-slinger himself!

Right after you enter the Terminal 3 Departure Hall from the MRT station, you are going to see the first attraction of the event. You can’t miss the big and colourful playground set up near check-in row 11! Put your superhero agility skills to the challenge as you go through the various obstacle courses, which include a Web of Survival, suspended rings, monkey bars and a thrilling zip-line.

The playground’s not just for kids, too; we tried all the obstacles and they are suitable and fun for adults, even the zip-line! Moreover, most of the obstacles are a real workout, so don’t underestimate them!

Just a short walk away from the playground, at the centre of T3 Departure Hall, is a super cool exhibition that we completely geeked out at…

Yes, those are the actual Spider-Man costumes and props that were used in the movies! And not just the Spider-Man: Homecoming movie, but also the still-coming-soon sequel Far From Home! Yup, you would be getting a sneak peek at some never-before-seen or rarely-seen stuff from the new movie.

Fans of the recent Spider-Man reboot starring Tom Holland should not miss this exhibition. After all, it’s open free to the public! You can get a pretty close look at three different Spidey suits: the familiar red and blue one that Peter Parker wore in Homecoming, his Far From Home stealth suit in a sleek black, and the more advanced, red and black suit that we bet will make an amazing revelation scene in Far From Home.

There are also props from Far From Home displayed. Check out the web fluid bottle and see if you can find out the ingredients to make your own concoction? We’ve briefly seen Peter Parker’s passport in the Far From Home trailer, so it’s awesome to see it in real life and verify that yes, there really is no year of birth printed on his passport! Peter’s backpack is also there, and so is an interesting “Peter Parker’s Harlequin Mask.” We wonder how that would play into the movie!

Bring some of the web-slinging fun home by getting some official Spider-Man merchandise, available next to the exhibition. There are lots to choose from, from t-shirts and masks to Funko Pop figurines and more toys.

In Far From Home, Peter Parker and his classmates will be taking a school trip to Europe, visiting London, Venice and Prague. Changi Airport invites you to experience their European adventure too, by recreating a few famous landmarks of the three cities for reat photo opportunities. This installation of Venice’s Rialto Bridge can be found right beside the movie props exhibition and merch shelves.

For some extra special and cool photos, head downstairs to the trick-eye installations at Basement 2. Defy gravity like Spider-Man as you “climb” walls, or “hang” from a window outside a building while doing your favourite Spider-Man action poses!

Or, team up with Spidey and posing on top of a “ledge,” before you go save the city together.

But nothing beats hanging out with a real, living Spider-Man. Fans can also get to meet the man himself and snap some photos together! Exclusive meet-and-greet sessions are held on the first three weekends of June. Simply spend a minimum of $50 (or $80 at the supermarket) in a single same-day receipt at any of the retail and F&B outlets at Changi Airport Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 public areas to redeem one meet-and-greet pass. It is limited to the first 50 redemptions per meet-and-greet slot per day, so redeem yours early!

The same spending condition applies to redeem two activity passes for the adventure playground, as well as a limited edition Spider-Man: Far From Home drawstring bag.

What about the Far From Home movie itself? Cap off the whole experience of the event by catching the movie in cinemas free! With a minimum spend of $120 (or $150 at the supermarket) with Mastercard at Changi Airport terminals one to four, in up to two same-day receipts, you can redeem a complimentary pair of tickets to catch the movie at Shaw Theatres Jewel!

Visit the official event website to find out more about the activities and redemption details.
