This year, a new heavyweight enters the culinary arena: The GREAT Food Festival (TGFF), held over four days from 21 to 24 September.

A joint collaboration between lifestyle destination Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) and international gourmet festival curator Savour events, the festival will gather 30 of the world’s most revered culinary figures such as Italian chefs Enrico and Roberto Cerea from Three Michelin-starred DA Vittoria, and the first and only female Iron Chef Cat Cora from the States.

In addition, a team of RWS celebrity chefs, featuring the likes of chef Sam Leong from Forest森 and Joël Robuchon Restaurant’s Michael Michaelidis, will be banding together to showcase their culinary masterpieces across multiple venues within the massive RWS space.

To better guide festival-goers, the event is grouped into five segments that promise a stunning mix of culinary experiences.

Begin by sampling only the best from over 50 dishes prepared by the chefs behind Michelin-starred restaurants at the Star Chef Area, before moving on to the Heritage Lane, where visitors may savour a selection of heritage-inspired dishes that stem from heirloom recipes and secret cooking methods passed down for generations.

Rollin’ Sweet Times will definitely satiate one’s sweet tooth with its massive dessert showcase of over 300 delectable creations. Plus, baking enthusiasts will get to participate in compliment masterclasses, where they not only get to pick up tricks of the trade, but also rub shoulders with Instagram star bakers Julián Ángel and Clifford Luu.

For a dining experience like no other, partake in the Feast of Kings or the Connoisseur Collection where the former offers visitors a chance to feast with the culinary royalty of Michelin-starred chefs, or savour otherworldly creations in an illustrious series of 4-hands dinners, collaborated by chefs from the Star Chef Area and RWS’s own culinary team.
