Can’t get enough of night festivals and shine-in-the-dark art? Another after-dark exhibition is coming to the Civic District – and it will extend into daytime.

Held over two weekends from 25-27 Nov and 2-4 Dec, the Gallery Light to Night Festival will celebrate the first anniversary of the National Gallery Singapore. It will feature more than 60 elaborate day-to-night programmes, including food and design markets, roving acts, the “Balloon Forest”, “Shimmering Treetops” presented by Lasalle College of the Arts with support from Swarovski, a “Disco Ball Pit” for adults and live performances by local talents Nathan Hartono and Charlie Lim.

Some activities will also be carried out after the Gallery’s usual closing hours, including the highly anticipated Façade Show, a light and music extravaganza that will create the illusion of glowing paint engulfing the façade of City Hall.

Additionally, admission charges to the Gallery’s exhibitions will be waived on the two weekends, during which visitors can enjoy the exhibitions until midnight and go on special late-night tours. The Festival is extended to 3am on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Gallery Light to Night Festival will take place from 25-27 Nov and 2-4 Dec. More information at www.nationalgallery.sg.
