Come together as a community to go green
Earth Day falls on April 22 every year, a global event and movement where we come together to do our part to protect our planet. But caring for the Earth is an everyday activity, and if you are looking for ideas do so as a community, join the following upcoming events! Many organisations are hosting events, workshops and more to raise environmental awareness ahead of Earth Day. A few have already begun! So gather your crew of green warriors, and show your love for Mother Earth with these fun events!
2. Takashimaya “Love The Earth” Campaign
It’s not often we see a huge retail store organise a dedicated green campaign, which is why we love this one by Takashimaya. The popular department store teams up with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to launch “Love The Earth,” a campaign all about environmental conservation and sustainability that runs for a whole month, from now till 30 April! Many of our favourite eco-friendly brands, such as LUSH and Ryan Grocery, are setting up pop-up booths to share how their products help protect our planet. There are also a range of talks and workshops about upcycling, gardening, healthy eating, and more. 100% of the proceeds generated from the Love The Earth campaign, including sales from pop-up booths and exhibitions throughout the month-long festival, will be donated to WWF! So pay a visit to Takashimaya soon and support this awesome effort!
