For the first time ever, some of the world’s most iconic cartoon characters will set sail on their very own cruise liner, the Cartoon Network Wave. The result of a partnership between cruise management company Oceanic Group and Cartoon Network’s regional distributor Turner Asia Pacific, the ship will make its maiden voyage from Singapore in late 2018.

Planned attractions include a Toonix pool area, a rope adventure park, and a Power Cage show with gravity-defying circus acts. As for food options, there will be at least nine restaurants, pubs, and bars onboard offering a slew of gastronomic delights infused with iconic Cartoon Network elements, including a Johnny-Bravo themed American diner called Bravo’s Place.

There will be 800 cabins and suites onboard to accommodate 2000 guests, including two exclusive triplex suites. The triplex (three-storey) suites includes two bedrooms each, a personal jacuzzi, a family lounge, and wait for it… your very own slide!

Cartoon Network Wave will be docked at Singapore Cruise Centre and will sail to 13 destinations in the region including Malaysia, Thailand, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, and Japan.

Prices start at US$150 (S$200) a night, according to the Cartoon Network Wave website. Dates and itineraries will be announced in the coming months.
