1. Witness the unveiling of a record-setting giant mooncake, and take a bite of it!

This one’s for the history books. For their annual Mid-Autumn celebrations, the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall is partnering with heritage brand Kwong Cheong Thye to set a record – the largest mooncake created in Singapore! Measuring a massive 1.8 metres in diameter, the gigantic mooncake must be seen to be believed. Be a part of history by joining the unveiling ceremony on 22 September, from 6pm to 7pm, and you can get a taste of it! The mooncake is halal-certified too, so all races are welcome to sample a history-making piece. Besides snapping some awesome selfies with the giant mooncake, add a beautiful sparkle to the ‘gram at the Memorial Hall’s lantern installation under the stars! Set to an ASEAN theme, it features gorgeous lanterns from all over the region, infusing the romantic atmosphere with cultural heritage from now until 8 October. The joy at the Memorial Hall doesn’t stop there – join in the rest of the festivities going on at the Memorial Hall on 22 and 23 September! From live traditional performances under the stars, to mooncake and tea tasting, to fun craft workshops, your Mid-Autumn experience at the Memorial Hall is set to be a memorable one for the books too.
