This month's forecast: 99% chance of wine
Like true blue Singaporeans, we love complaining about inane issues. And thanks to 1-Group, we can now whine over wine until end August at upscale lifestyle destinations of 1-Altitude, Monti, The Garage, and The Summerhouse.
Titled Wine Lust Journeys, the extravaganza has 14 gastronomic adventures hosted across the mentioned four destinations, where merrymakers can gather together to revel in the spirit of wine drinking through a flurry of unique programmes.
Highlights to expect are dinner pairings, pop-up cellars and celebratory events. You can even purchase wine bottles (including Magnum and Jeroboam formats) on site at retail and wholesale prices.

3. Immerse in an Australian vineyard dining experience at The Summerhouse
Happening daily till 31 August between 5pm and 9pm, The Summerhouse is serving up popular dishes you’d find at some well-known Australian wineries such as Leeuwin Estate at Margaret River, Woodstock at Mclaren Vale and Kaesler at Barossa. Alongside his signature dishes, Chef Florian Ridder has procured three special menus aptly named after these wineries. Some dishes include the scallop ceviche from the Leeuwin Estate menu, grilled pumpkin ice cream from the Kaelser menu and Woodstock’s Tajima Wagyu beef burger. And of course, all meals are paired with wines from their respective wineries.
