With so many inventive and international cuisine options popping up around Singapore, sometimes we just want to gorge on a simple bowl or plate of traditional comfort food.
Look no further. It’s the month of local food love, and here are five food festivals coming up that will shower you with good old Singapore savouries and sweets.

1. Giant kueh festival
On 24 Jul, ToTT Store will be home to Kueh Appreciation Day, featuring an array of delicious, savoury and sweet kueh sold by local kueh artisans. Besides well-known sweets, some rare kueh will be specially prepared for the event for visitors.
