5 Spectacular Sights at i Light Marina Bay 2017

This year’s edition brings twists to its light art installations and festival activities

On evenings from 3-26 Mar, the Marina Bay waterfront promenade will burst into a symphony of light and festivities as part of the annual i Light Marina Bay.

Beyond the 20 light art installations by artists from around the globe - and the yummy pop-up finds along the water's edge - this year’s festival will feature even more activities, through which the public can also contribute to community causes.

Here are five stellar gems to look out for at the festival:

2. Upcycled furniture you can take home

At The Fantastical World of eco.me – the second festival hub held at The Promontory @ Marina Bay – visitors can explore a recycling and upcycling marketplace, a kinetic energy playground and an urban garden.

Held from 3-5 and 9-12 Mar, this hub highlights upcycled furniture, namely 70 tables and 80 benches made of wooden pallets, as well as 300 colourful planters made of painted beer crate. After the festival, these items will be made available for public adoption. Donations will go towards the Culture Plus Fund.

The Fantastical World of eco.me will be held from 3-5 and 9-12 Mar.
