Back for its second year, the Light to Night Festival looks set to illuminate the Civic District with a dazzling array of colours and lights. Themed "Colour Sensations", the arts festival will transform iconic cultural institutions and parks into a creative canvas with spectacular works of art, as well as play host to more than 30 visual, dance, music, and literary art programmes.
Ready to embark on your multi-sensorial journey? Here are some of the must-sees worth beating the crowds for:
2. House of Mirrors
When was the last time you did some inner soul-searching and reflection? This installation takes the process of reflection literally, and combines a thrilling blend of delight and paranoia into one fascinating labyrinth of endless mirrors. Think you can find your way out of a house filled with mirrors pointing out your reflections at every corner? Think again, as you come face to face with these disorienting optical illusions and bewildering reflections. Timed admission of 15 minutes per person at $2 each.
With over 30 programmes over 10 days, there'll be more things for you to see and experience than you have time for! National Gallery will also be extending its opening hours till midnight on Fridays and Saturdays of the festival, and visitors can enjoy complimentary admissions to all exhibitions. Plan ahead here.
Admission is free.
