1. Coffee Hill
Yes, Coffee Hill is a thing, and unlike its name suggests, it doesn’t grow opiate of the working masses. Colloquially known as “Kopi Sua”, the Bukit Brown Cemetery is a Chinese burial place that was opened in 1922.
Named after George Henry Brown, the first owner of the land, it is infamous for reported sightings of pontianak (female ghosts) hiding in the trees, with their evil laughs echoing through the cemetery at night.
