Weekender’s Strategies

According to Michelin, the star system works in this way: A one-star restaurant is a very good restaurant you should try if you’re in the area, a two-star restaurant is an excellent restaurant that is worth a detour and a three-star restaurant is an exceptional restaurant that is worth the journey on its own, like a food pilgrimage.

With this guideline in mind, think about the top restaurants (and even hawkers) that people might travel to Singapore to try to come up with the number of stars you think Singapore might be awarded. It might also be good to have a look at Michelin guides for other countries and see how many stars were given to countries similar in size to Singapore.
