Planning your vacation for the second half of 2016? You’ll want to stop by DFS Group’s brand new Wines and Spirits Duplex store at Changi Airport Terminal 2. The huge 15,520 square feet duplex carries the world’s finest wines, spirits and tobacco and has three unique DFS in-store concepts — the Wine Reserve, the Cigar Room and the Whiskey House.

Visitors will be spoilt for choice with over 900 products available in store including exclusives only available at Changi. These includes rare bottles of 1939 Chateau Cheval Blanc, travel exclusives like The Chita from Suntory and Johnnie Walker Island Green Scotch.

DFS T2 Duplex - Interior (2) 1000

Aside from being just a travel retail store, the duplex encourages interaction with customers. One of the first things you’ll notice when you enter the space is a large circular bar serving small portions of premium whiskeys for travellers to try. Mingle with trained connoisseurs and savour the difference in aroma of an 18 year House of Hazelwood to a 25 year.

From now to 10 Sep, Wines and Spirits Duplex is holding their inaugural Whiskey Festival. Every Friday and Saturday evening, there will be appearances by various brand ambassadors from famed whiskey houses like Macallan who will be giving talks on their products. Travellers can also enjoy Whiskey Festival Signature Cocktails for free at both the Whiskey House in Terminal 2 Duplex and The Long Bar by Raffles in Terminal 3.

Here’s a closer look at what to expect in the new Wines and Spirits Duplex.
