This locally-inspired freakshake from @blacktapsg is bringing us to their yard! The Straits Shake ($22++) is fragrant with gula melaka, and gives us an old school throwback with pineapple jam biscuits, coconut butter biscuits & chocolate gems, plus a pineapple popsicle to top it off. Time for a sugar rush! . . . #blacktap #blacktapsg #freakshake #freakshakes #milkshake #milkshakes #yummy #sweet #sweettreats #sweettooth #sgfoodiary #sgfoodstagram
1. Black Tap (Western)
If you still haven’t tried the monstrous milkshakes and burgers at Black Tap, first of all, why are you depriving yourself? But now is a great time to get into the mania because the restaurant has recently added many creative new locally-inspired offerings to their menu. Among them is a The Straits Shake, a Freakshake aptly named so based on the medley of favourite local delights – gula melaka syrup, pineapple jam biscuits, coconut butter biscuits, and even a pineapple popsicle stuck in that incredible tower! Pair it with the soft shell chili crab burger, and you have a Singapore meal at an American fast food joint!
