Recipe: Pan Fried Ikan Kerisi with Guacamole by Asian Food Channel

A healthy fish dish that is easy to prepare. Guacamole adds not only delicious flavour but a nutritious component to this fish meal

Ingredients

Serves 2 people

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 white snapper fillet
    Skin on
  • salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Guacamole

  • 2 ripe avocados
    Small chopped
  • 1 red onion
    Small diced
  • 1 large tomato
    Seeded then small diced
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 2 green chili
    Sliced
  • 1 clove garlic
    Minced
  • 1 ½ tbsp fresh lime juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper

  • Flip over and leave to cook.
  • Remove from pan.

(Do not overcrowd pan when frying fish. Always fry fish skin side down.)
