Qi Xiang Chicken Pot’s Opens a New Flagship Restaurant at Jurong

The famous Qi Xiang Chicken Pot has won over the hearts and stomachs of patrons with its unique beer-infused chicken pots.

Westies will be happy to know that the much raved about joint has just opened their flagship hotpot concept restaurant at The Chevrons, with extended hours till as late as 3am.

The outlet at The Chervons has a robust menu featuring over 80 delectable options. The restaurant also uses traditional claypots while offering one of Singapore’s first-ever yuan yang claypot options.

Choose from a slew of comforting soup bases such as the Signature Broth (S$29.90 for full or half pot) featuring a cornucopia of Chinese herbs, Pumpkin Soup (S$29.90 for full or half pot), Herbal Soup (S$29.90 for full or half pot), Tom Yum Soup ($22.80 for full pot, $12.50 for half pot) and Tomato Soup (S$16 for full pot, S$9 for half pot). You can also add on the famed boiled chicken for ultimate satisfaction!

If you enjoy hotpot with some unique flavour, we highly recommend the piquant Green Pepper Sauerkraut Dory Fish Pot (S$37.90 for full pot, S$20.80 for half pot). The immediate punch of bursting flavours will definitely surprise you.

Meat lovers can opt for prime sliced to order luxe meat featuring US Sirloin Beef (S$21.90 for full portion, S$10.90 for half portion), Australian Wagyu Beef (S$49.90 for full portion, S$24.90 for half portion) and the opulent Japanese Wagyu Beef (S$135.90 for 300g, S$67.90 for 150g).

Smoke Infused Duck Breast Braised in Szechuan Sauce

Another of their must-try dish is the Smoke Infused Duck Breast Braised in Szechuan Sauce (S$18.90). This dish is set to awe with its rich and layered taste profile. Being encapsulated in a dome, it graces the tables like an art. The process of lifting it, reveal the smoke makes it extremely Instagram-worthy. The dish is being cooked using methods such as braised, sous-vide and tea-smoked. It is tea-smoked with umami-packed house-made Szechuan sauce.

XO Homemade Carrot Cake

Another not-to-be-missed dish, the XO Homemade Carrot Cake (S$10.90). Crispy egg bits, beansprouts and spring onions fused with luscious chunks of carrot cake and complete with dollops of XO sauce. This creation is sure to leave you lusting for more.

Here the good news, the flagship restaurant is offering free-flow drinks, fruits and condiments for just S$5 per pax. To celebrate the new opening, the restaurant will be waiving the service charges from now to August 2021!
