Commemorate Singapore’s 49th year at Orchard Cafe with a $4.90 buffet from Aug 1 to 17. Every third diner at the Straits Cuisine buffet at Orchard Cafe can enjoy their meal at $4.90. Apart from the live action stations featuring Peranakan delights such as Nyonya Laksa, other local delights are available as well. Quintessential dishes such as Chicken Rice and Oyster Omelette aside, diners can also look forward to Bak Kwa, made a la minute.
Prata Galore
Orchard Cafe goes all out with the roti prata station featuring 49 different variants of prata ranging from savoury to sweet. Interesting flavours include Ayam Buah Keluak, Kimchi, Longan and Cempedak, but of course, crowd pleasers such as Banana Nutella and Cheese are also available. Local desserts such as Tau Suan, Hot Pisang Pengat, Cempedak Creme Brulee and Coconut Gula Melaka Mousse will also be ready for your dining pleasure.
Durian lovers or haters, take note. There will be a free flow of durians set up at the alfresco dining area for dinner. You have been warned.
