3 Things To Know About The Michelin-Starred Kam’s Roast

Who’d have thought that the sleepy Pacific Plaza would be home to two Michelin-starred restaurants someday?

After the world’s only Michelin-starred ramen eatery, Tsuta, opened its doors on 6 Nov, Kam’s Roast will be following suit come 19 Nov, 1pm.

The popular roast goose restaurant from Hong Kong was awarded the Michelin Star in the 2015 and 2016 editions of Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau.

Here are three things you should know, prior to its grand opening:

1. They may or may not be serving goose

What’s in a name? Plenty, it seems. But for Kam’s Roast, it is undecided if the word ‘Goose’ will be kept in the name.

According to the man bringing the brand to our shores, Singapore-born television producer Robert Chua, they’ve yet to find a reliable goose supplier for the restaurant.

Until then, the restaurant will be serving its other signatures including roast duck and suckling pig.
