It’s not a Singaporean CNY without these good ‘ol prosperity burgers

Once January rolls around, Singaporean foodies know it’s time to feast on McDonald’s Prosperity Burgers!
Springtime, with its festive ambient and promise of new hope, is made all the better with the hearty, seasonal burgers.
As usual, the Prosperity Beef or Chicken Burger (from $5.40) is available in single and double patties, and available islandwide for a limited time only.
Dipped in black pepper sauce, the grilled beef or chicken patty is topped with slivered onions and served in-between soft sesame seed buns.
New this year is the Golden Prosperity Beef or Chicken Burger (from $6.30), which comes with a piece of golden Hashbrown in addition to the patties.
For the full experience, enjoy the burgers with sides like Twister Fries, savoury-sweet BBQ Drumlets (from $2.20) and the Instagram-friendly Gula Melaka McFlurry with Rainbow Bites (from $2.90).
Plus, diners will be able to bring home limited edition orange bags, available for purchase at $5 each from 12 Jan 2017 onwards with any orders made via McDelivery and over the McCafé counters, on a while stocks last basis. Customers are limited to purchase one orange bag per transaction.
That said, what we’re really after are the adorable red packets, which are available in four exclusive designs this year — complimentary in a set of six with every purchase of a Golden Prosperity Burger Extra Value Meal at all participating McDonald’s restaurants and via McDelivery from 12 Jan 2017, on a while stocks last basis.
