KPO, named after its location at the junction of Killiney, Penang and Orchard Roads, only truly comes alive after office hours, when the executive crowds come to chill out or have a post-work drink during happy hour.

At 1 Killiney Road, its glass walls and steel architecture stand out, especially for those who appreciate history as well as modern design. The two-storey bar even has a greenhouse on the second floor.

Cocktails are well-priced at this popular bar and restaurant. Come early if you want to be certain of a seat.

8. Thai & Vietnamese Delicacies

Indo-Chinese food is a hit at Killiney, with Thai and Vietnamese food of pretty good quality.

Orange Lantern has been serving Vietnamese favourites for a long time, from pho bo to delicious iced Vietnamese coffee, at 73 Killiney Road. Good Thai food is a draw at Suanthai at 101 Killiney Road.

If you feel like having French pastry or good bread, drop by Artisan Boulangerie at 118 Killiney Road.

Helmed by artisan baker Eran Mayer, it has a wide selection including fruit tarts, eclairs, croissants, salads and sandwiches, as well as espresso coffee. All pastry is made on site.
