How can it be a Korea Food Fair without Tae Kwan Do demonstrations?

Martial arts for you

Famed for their Tae Kwan Do, we were treated to an enthralling performance. Their high energy wood breaking stunts drew the crowd, as each master had a turn with smiting the board in two. After the thrilling episode, they performed a rendition of infamous Gangnum Style too.

Juices and spirits a galore!

Back to the food

But there is nothing more exciting than the food! Cold Storage brought back old favourites and new items, some of the biggest hits in Korea. My personal favourite is the Tea Zen Maum Tea, which comes in 5 flavours in varying cute packaging.

The instant noodles are the biggest draw of the fair

Noodles and soup for the soul

One of the biggest draw for me was their endless line of instant noodles. The Koreas have very curious instant noodles, one that particularly caught my eye was the Wowbob Ramyun + Rice Cup Noodles. It is the hottest trend in Korea right now and it is supposedly instant raman and rice in a cup. Sounds interesting, huh!

Brownies and cookies

There is a surge of sugary products bought in this year, with old favourites such as Market O Brownies selling out quickly every day. The Korea cheese crackers are exceptional at this fair, with some selling out on the first day already.
