Celebrating Singapore’s 49th at Catalunya may not seem like such as far stretch this year with its special local ingredient menu.
From now until Jul 27, the public can vote for their favourite local ingredient from a list of five items. Executive Chef Alain Devahive will turn the ingredient with the highest vote into a dish served as a special item on the menu only on Aug 9.
The list comprises ingredients such as Pandan, Frog Legs, Crabs, Black Chicken and Baby Kai-lan. On top of the National Day surprise dish, diners will be treated to a special cocktail bundle ($49++), the Calamansi Mojito – Mumbai Colada with kaya mix- and a serving of Patatas Brava with ‘All I Oli’ – aioli, a garlic and oil based sauce.
Guests can also watch the fireworks display from Catalunya onAug 9 at $28 nett, inclusive of access to Catalunya Bar and one free house pour.
