Teatime is done right at Yàn, even better when it coincides with the National Day festivities. From 1 to 31 August, the Cantonese restaurant is set to spotlight Singapore’s well-loved flavours in various dim sum offerings. Some highlights include the
fried satay chicken wanton (three pieces for $6.80), steamed Hainanese chicken with sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf
($4 per piece) and the rendition of the iconic soon kueh with the steamed pork and mushroom dumpling with chives (three for $6.80).
