Explore The Wild Side With TBB Safari In Dempsey

Part glamping, part flavour lab, part history lesson.

“Connect with nature by exploring the outdoors, indoors,” may be the best panacea for our hectic-paced 21st-century lives, so said Cynthia Chua, founder of Tiong Bahru Bakery and Spa Esprit Group. Ever imagined glamping in our own backyard? The imagination stops here as Tiong Bahru Bakery pitches their tent for yet another new bakery with totally new vibes while still retaining the familiar and well-loved DNA. Sticking close to the overarching philosophy of “Celebrating Neighbourhoods”, the local chain embraces the natural green environment
of Dempsey.

What was once a thriving nutmeg plantation and part of the British Military Area that housed their families in the nineteenth century, 130E Minden Road is now home to Singapore’s most talked about F&B destination. The connecting verdant 3,000 square- foot garden that grows a variety of plants, vegetables, fruits and flowers lend their natural instincts to TBB Safari’s antioxidant latte selection and power breakfast jars packed with Singapore’s very own edible plants that are exclusive to the African safari-inspired cafe.

Beetroot and Ginger Latte

In addition to the iconic caffeine-free TBB Teh Tarik ($7.00) and bluebell latte ($6.00) using blue pea flower extract and coconut milk which are available islandwide, sip on gluten-free and dairy-free turmeric and ginger latte ($6.50) that shines like the golden sun, with a touch of organic coconut sugar. There’s beetroot and ginger latte ($6.50) too that glows in a softer pink rose hue using soy milk or almond nut milk replacement at no extra charge.

Papaya, Black Sesame & Oats

The Home of the Handmade Croissant continues to support “Grow Your Own Food” movement by introducing rainbow power breakfast jars which contain antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties in papaya infused with turmeric on a bed of tapioca pearls (sago) and coconut milk ($8.50), pandan-infused pineapple on rolled oats in black sesame-infused milk ($8.80) and apples on bircher muesli with rojak flowers ($8.50). All TBB Safari exclusives may change from time to time.
