Ever wanted to indulge in a greasy, post-party burger like your favourite Hollywood A-Listers?

You can do just that and more at the 25 Degrees Burgers and Liquor Bar.

The burger joint, originally from Los Angeles at the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, has opened its first Singapore outlet at the hip boutique Hotel G.

Named after the precise temperature difference between a raw and well-done hamburger, the cosy diner features dark paneled wood walls accented with vintage photographs.

The best seats in the house? The bar counter, which overlooks the open kitchen, allowing you to take in all of the patty flipping action.

Fussy and indecisive diners like myself, will be pleased to know that they offer a focused menu of five mouthwatering burgers, alongside sides like fries and salads.

Hunky burgers

The best-selling signature, aptly named the Number One, is a must-try. Fluffy brioche buns sandwich a hunky 200g USA Angus beef, creamy crescenza, gorgonzola, strips of smoky bacon. All of that is topped with caramelised onions for a slightly sweet edge.

While the brioche buns were warm and buttery, they weren’t as soft as I’d like them to be. That said, the beef patty was juicy and an absolute delight to savour.

Seafood lovers will enjoy the Number Four, which comes with a seared yellowfin tuna patty, served on a bed of soft butter lettuce, with crispy fried onions and spicy aioli.

To wash it all down, we recommend ordering one of their malt milkshakes. Created with generous scoops of ice cream, the milkshakes were creamy and easy on the palate, without being overwhelmingly sweet.

Make your own

And if nothing on the menu piques your fancy, you can build your dream burger with the ‘Craft Your Own’ option.

Here, you can pick from an extensive range of meats, cheese, extra toppings and sauces. Choices include turkey and kurobuta pork for meat; cheeses, such as creamy truffle brie and Swiss-style emmi gruyere; and toppings from roasted red peppers to saukeraut and Canadian bacon.

To quench your thirst, don’t miss out on their daily happy hour from 3pm to 7pm, where guests can enjoy 1-for-1 on all sides, half of full pints of Hoegaarden and Stella Artois, and cocktails.

Over all, 25 Degrees Burgers and Liquor Bar hits all the right notes when it comes to satisfying our burger cravings.

After all, what’s there not to love about house-made patties and all-American style milkshakes?
