Recently, Grey Goose Vodka announced the introduction of a ground-breaking new spirit, the Grey Goose VX – Vodka Exceptionnelle.

I braved the heights at the high-flying launch at Ku De Ta to bring you the verdict.

Exquisite Detail & Character

Unlike the usual vodka bottle, Grey Goose VX comes in an exquisite decanter made from “extra flint” glass, known for its exceptional quality. The VX bottle boasts an elegant shape with exquisite detailing and is crowned with a collectible bottle stopper.

The VX vodka can be enjoyed on the rocks in a snifter glass or chilled and neat, to appreciate its rich and aromatic character.

Marriage Made in Heaven

To create Grey Goose VX, Grey Goose Maître de Chai (cellar master) Francois Thibault married Grey Goose vodka with a hint of precious cognac that’s made by Thibault exclusively for Grey Goose VX. The special cognac is crafted with grapes from the Grande Champagne region, including a rare harvest – Le Logis, aged in hand-selected old cask barrels for up to two years.

The final outcome is a balanced spirit that is subtle and harmonious, rich yet delicate. I liked the VX vodka more as part of a cocktail.
