8 Must-Visit Food Stalls At This Year’s Geylang Serai Bazaar

Indulge in melt-in-your-mouth ‘rainbow planet’ ice cream, deep-fried red velvet oreos and crispy chicken sticks

When it comes to feasting during cultural festivities, Singaporeans do it best.

And what better way to kick off the Hari Raya revelry than by embarking on a culinary adventure at the Geylang Serai Bazaar?

Last year, enterprising stall owners gave bazaar-goers a taste of treats that were a nod to viral food trends like rainbow bagels, pastel coloured puddings, cotton candy soft serve and more.

From now till 24 June, the bazaar returns with over 1,000 stalls stretching across the Geylang Serai Market, Joo Chiat Complex and Haig Road.

Here are eight food stalls to check out:

Old but gold, the iconic Thai dessert makes a return with Coco To Go. The dessert stall will be serving scoops of creamy coconut ice cream drizzled with sweet sauce and sprinkled with crushed peanuts.

The best part of all? The ice cream is served in an actual coconut husk with sweet flesh still intact for extra indulgence. Other ice cream flavours include chocolate and strawberry, alongside beverages like the coconut shake.
