Themed “Savour Singapore in Every Bite”, the 24th edition of Singapore Food Festival (SFF) returns with gusto from 14 to 30 July.

This year, the festival will pay tribute to our multi-faceted local food scene, as well as honour the talented individuals who have worked tirelessly to place Singapore at the cutting-edge of the culinary realm.

Here are seven events to look out for:

1. STREAT

Kicking off the gourmet festivities is STREAT, a curated line-up of local food establishments and a pop-up restaurant happening on 14 and 15 July from 5pm-10.30pm.

In the bid to spotlight young hawkerpreneurs and chefs, Malcolm Lee of Michelin-starred restaurant Candlenut and Willin Low of Wild Rocket have hand-selected nine vendors, including Whampoa Prawn Noodle and New Ubin Seafood, to present quintessential local dishes with a culinary twist.

The two revered chefs will also be presenting contemporary interpretations of local classics, via a three-course Mod-Sin and modern Peranakan Tok Panjang menu ($50).
