Would You Sit On This Terrifying 1,000ft Cliff Swing?

Swinging on the edge of the world – what could possibly go wrong?

There’s a new attraction in Chongqing, China, and it’ll take a regular person Superman-level bravery to ride it.

The swing, which just opened in the Wansheng Ordovician Theme Park, has been drawing visitors with its extreme view – a 300m-high drop off the edge of the cliff.

The new ride gained popularity when the above video was uploaded to YouTube, where a tourist swings from the platform over a misty cliff edge. In fact, in foggy conditions, it resembles a scene straight out of “Silent Hill”.

Visitors are able to enter the park for free, but there is a charge for riding the swing. The park is located in the Chongqing’s Wansheng Heishan Valley tourism area (黑山谷), and also includes other extreme attractions like a glass-bottom bridge and a narrow walkway attached to the side of a cliff.
