1. Tokyo’s No. 1 chicken ramen

Lauded as Tokyo’s top chicken ramen chain, Singaporeans can now try Menya Takeichi’s famous Chicken Paitan Broth Ramen.

The restaurant’s signature dish is a thick and flavourful broth packed with collagen. Fresh chicken and chicken feet are stewed for hours to get the rich broth that will put what you know about chicken soup to shame.

2. Rustic Italian fare

Hankering after some hearty Italian fare? Check out newly opened restaurant, Lucca’s Trattoria.

Helmed by Chef Wayne, the menu features pastas and pizzas made from scratch using only natural ingredients. Not to be missed are Lucca’s pizzas which are made using special grade flour imported from Italy, making it tastier and chewier than regular pizza dough.

3.Wagyu steak frites

Available from now until 15 March, the juicy and succulent Wagyu Rump Steak ($18) is accompanied by a laksa pasta, which adds a unique and interesting element to the dish.

1. A collective play by youths who have never performed before

“Memories and Dreams” is an original play that explores issues of family and a sense of belonging in our ever-changing world. It is written and composed by more than 60 youths aged six to 20, from all cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, many of whom have never been on performed or designed before.

The script is a refreshing blend of satire, drama and humour.

2. Bon Iver live in Singapore

Critically-acclaimed indie folk act Bon Iver will be performing in Singapore for the first time. Bon Iver’s first album “For Emma, Forever Ago” was entirely composed and recorded by Justin Vernon over three months spent in solitude in a cabin, receiving rave reviews as one of the era’s surprise success stories.

Madonna fans can rejoice as the Queen of Pop will be stopping by Singapore for the first time on her Rebel Heart Tour this year. Get ready for a night of wild staging and extreme vocals by one of the most successful live performers of all time!

1. Sample and shop for local groceries and produce


Spend time outdoors, and meet, greet and get your share of local and fresh produce at the Social Market #3. Look forward to locally-based companies that produce jams and condiments using locally-grown fruits; sell fresh, pure and raw coconut shakes; offer handcrafted soaps; and sell neighbourhood bakes.

You can also grab some grub on the go, including fresh oysters, Romanian home delights and handcrafted healthy snacks. After that, work off some calories, with the on-site complimentary Yoga and Pilates classes at 9.00am and 10.00am respectively.
