It’s mind boggling to think that Beerfest Asia is already in its 8th edition. In fact, it sure didn’t seem too long ago that I was chugging my favourite pale ale while the last World Cup blared on a big screen.

Back from June 16-19 at Marina Promenade, Asia’s largest beer festival will offer beer enthusiasts more than 500 beers alongside tasty grub and endless live entertainment.

While you gather your drinking buddies, here are four festival highlights to look forward to:

For the best experience, go for the beer sampling platters at $6-$8 per platter of six 50ml portions before making a beeline for your favourite brew.

2. Gourmet grub to fill your belly

What’s great beer without tasty food? Hungry festival go-ers will be well satiated by the wide variety of food selections with Mr & Mrs Maxwell, Tiger’s Milk and Harry’s.

A panel of esteemed judges including beer industry experts, beer enthusiasts and media partners will be handing out Gold, Silver, Bronze medals to deserving winners across 18-20 beer categories.
