It looks like Victoria’s Secret Angels are all set to strut down the catwalk in wings, bras and Balmain.

Taking to Instagram, Victoria’s Secret announced its partnership with the Parisian fashion house to create key looks for 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and a shoppable capsule collection, VSxBALMAIN, launching in selected stores, beginning December 2017 in Singapore. This is the first time the lingerie giant has ever partnered with a luxury brand.

Living up to the elusiveness of its name, Victoria’s Secret has also released an accompanying 25-second video teaser to the announcement. What we gleaned from the blurry teaser could probably be this year’s runway costumes, featuring fishnet detailing, rocket studs, jeweled embellishments and black fabrics. With Balmain’s Creative Director Olivier Rousteing as the design force, the collection is said to offer outfits in Victoria Secret’s body-accentuating silhouettes imbued with the Parisian fashion house’s identifiable style.

As part of the tease, a black-and-white promo visual was also revealed, reading the declaration “Balmain Loves VS” and the debut date: 11.29.17 in a jumble of various graffiti-like fonts. For what’s its worth, the monochrome and edgy typography is not far off from the rocker-chic outfits worn in the video teaser, confirming our suspicion of a black-dominant, rebel-esque theme. Guess the world will have to find out once the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs on November 28.
