1. Shanghai Underground 2.0 – Long Live the Dai Lo

The Dragon Chamber is excited to present its second installment of “Shanghai Underground: Long Live the Dai Lo” on 28 October 2023. For this edition, they’ve given the speakeasy an eerie makeover, setting the stage for a Chinese funeral-inspired Halloween theme.

Staying true to Chinese traditions, attendees will be welcomed with a mandatory shot and surrounded by a coffin centrepiece, creating the perfect backdrop for spooky photos. As the night unfolds, you can savour themed drinks from The Dragon Chamber’s Halloween menu. Try the ‘Black Heart’ (黑心) for a nod to funeral customs, featuring a blend of Peddlers gin, Amaro Montenegro, and grapefruit, garnished with white chrysanthemum, or go for the caffeine-infused ‘Blood for Blood’ (血债血偿), a mixture of salted plum gin and coffee liqueur. While enjoying the groovy tunes from Dai Lo’s jukebox, you can also fuel up with the Tiger Triad Combo, featuring supper bites like Mala Fries, Firecracker Chicken, and Cheeseburger Rolls.

To take the Halloween fervour to its peak, there will be a Best Dressed Competition, offering attendees the chance to win a 2D1N staycation at the newly-opened Mondrian Duxton, among other attractive prizes.

The Dragon Chamber is located at  2 Circular Rd, Singapore 049358.
