The Pokémon Go craze has settled down quite a bit, but we can’t help getting excited at the news that a special Pokemon exhibition is coming to town.

Running from 22 Oct – 2 Jan, 2017, the Pokémon Research Exhibition will be the first one held outside of Japan. Here, visitors will take on the role of scientific researchers to study Pokémon. It will be held at the SEA Aquarium in Resorts World Sentosa.

Visitors will have one mission: Choose a real-life PokéBall and deduce the identity of the creature contained within, using interactive stations that feature scientific processes like observation, investigation and data collection.

The exhibition will feature eight areas, and the PokéBalls are separated into three difficulty levels: A regular Pokéball (easy), a Great Ball (medium) and an Ultra Ball (hard).

Also appearing at the exhibition is the iconic Pikachu mascot, all decked out in a lab coat, and a giant Pokédex wall showcasing more than 700 Pokémon.

The Pokémon Research Exhibition will be open from 22 Oct, daily from 10am – 7pm, at the SEA Aquarium. Tickets to the exhibition are bundled with admission to the main Aquarium.
