As the full moon rises for Mid-Autumn Festival, so are the feasting and celebrations around town. If you’re looking for a unique place to get your lanterns out and soak in the festivities, here are five places you’ll want to check out.

1. Esplanade
Recently stepping up its game with carnivals and fairs galore, Esplanade is once again on the ball with its own Mid-Autumn celebrations – so this is a great place to trawl during this period.
Called Moonfest and running from 9-11 Sep, the event will dress the bay area up in a symphony of lights and sounds, from roving stilt walkers to a lantern-making workshop to a backstage tour of a Chinese street opera.
