#WeekenderEat: Wine Lust’s 6th Edition At The Summerhouse

The Summerhouse is no stranger to most of us who are residing in Singapore as it is a unique and romantic dining destination that comprises of a restaurant, café and bar in Seletar.

Stepping into The Summerhouse makes you feel you have travelled out of Singapore for a little while. Their Garden Domes are probably one of the most Instagram-worthy areas of the restaurant that allows you to bring your date on a romantic dining experience. If you prefer indoors, you can also choose to dine at level 2, also known as the French Dining Room.

The Summerhouse French Dining Room has collaborated with 1-Group to launch their Wine Lust’s 6th Edition. Go on an oenological adventure, explore the stories, history, and people behind every bottle.

Enjoy a four-course wine pairing dinner from just S$88++ per pax.

Start your meal with their Wagyu Beef Tartare paired with Torresella Prosecco Rose Brut DOC. The combination of these two pairs up refreshingly well and keeps your stomach ready for what will come next.

For the soup, enjoy Creme d’Epinard, a delicious bowl of soup that contains kelong prawns and crustacean oil. Thought it would be too heavy. Nope. It was paired with Simonnet-Febvre Chablis perfectly.

There are two main options to choose from but Team Weekender went with Inka Grilled Lamb Rack alongside a glass of Domaine Labruyère Moulin-A-Vent Coeur de Terroirs 2019. The French red wine has a faint taste which went very well with the heavily flavoured Grilled Lamb Rack. For fish lovers, Pan-Seared Barramundi is available and paired with Flametree Embers Savignon Blanc Senillon as well.

How can we miss out on desserts? We ended the meal sweetly with Acai Creme Brulee and De Bortoli Petit Moscato. The Moscato was not the sweetest one we have tried but it goes very well with the Acai Creme Brulee. Nothing overly sweet and we had to resist not going for a second glass!

The Summerhouse is located at 3 Park Ln, Singapore 798387.
