1. Town Restaurant, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
Savour a veritable spread of heritage dishes while watching the sun set by the iconic Singapore River, with The Fullerton Hotel Singapore‘s A Soiree by the River at Town Restaurant. A tribute to the vibrant food scene that once lined the Singapore River and our country’s rich food culture; this dinner buffet will highlight local favourites with a live grill set up right by the riverside, with dishes like Sambal Stingray, Mud Crab and Barbecued King Prawns, as well as the star of the show: delectable satays by home-grown brand, Chim’s Satay. These satays are not to be missed, with each stick of meat painstakingly “threaded” by hand using their unique method with a special recipe passed down through two generations, and lovingly grilled over a charcoal fire.
Indulge in other sumptuous local dishes, from Chef Chan’s Signature Salted Egg Yolk Lobster (available on Friday and Saturday) and fragrant Oatmeal Prawns, to Town Restaurant’s famed Hainanese Chicken Rice and Laksa (available daily). As a fun way to end off the feast, make your own sweet treats at the DIY ice kachang and chendol station for dessert!
