Lalune Singapore: Fresh Croissants & Instagram-worthy Bubble Tea

Pair your teas with fragrant croissants at this brand-new, locally-owned bakery/bubble tea store!

We Singaporeans love our bubble teas, and brown sugar boba has ridden a wave of popularity recently with the influx of Taiwanese brands making their entrance here. But Lalune, located at B3 of 313@somerset, is set to change that! Opened by a Singaporean millennial, JJ, who’s just graduated from NTU; Lalune offers freshly-baked croissants, as well as teas made with no preservatives or flavourings, in adorable and environmentally-friendly bottles!

Don’t miss out on their Original Croissant – crisp, buttery and deliciously flaky. We also enjoyed the Apple Cinnamon Croissant (S$3.90/piece), filled with a Christmassy, fragrant apple compote, and the Chocolate Croissant (S$3.90/piece) that oozed with rich chocolatey goodness.

Pair your fresh bakes with Lalune’s bestselling Dirty Milk Tea (S$4), where fresh milk is topped with house-cooked brown sugar pearls. We liked the brown sugar pearls more than the normal pearls – aromatic with a burnished caramel taste.

Or if you would like something lighter, the Peach Milk Tea (S$3.50) is wonderful too – bai tou oolong tea and fresh milk are paired for a floral adventure on your tongue. Go for the Passion Royale (S$5) if you want something refreshing: with a base of green tea, citrusy lime and lemon, plus passionfruit pulp; this makes for the perfect drink on a hot day! The Dragon Royale (S$5), where oolong tea and dragon fruit juice are blended with ice, is also gorgeous if you want a great IG shot!
