Kuriya Japanese Market’s Prosperity Yusheng comes with salmon, tuna and yellowtail.

No Lunar New Year celebration is complete without a mandatory toss of the yusheng to signify a year of prosperity and wealth.

With endless renditions of the dish to choose from, the quality of the fish is what matters if you’re looking to impress your family and friends.

Fresh from Japan

Perfect for home parties and reunion dinners, Kuriya Japanese Market’s Prosperity Yusheng ($49.80 for 7 to 8 persons) is a great choice. Available from Jan 26 to Feb 22, it comes with salmon, tuna and yellowtail.

Be guaranteed of freshness as Kuriya Japanese Market carefully selects and flies in seafood directly from Japan three times weekly. In fact, its very own fish specialist in Osaka, Japan visits the market every morning at 4am to select the freshest fish and seafood, which is then packed and air-flown to Singapore immediately!

Dine-in Delights

If you’re looking for a fuss-free celebration, consider dining in at Ichiban Boshi or Ichiban Sushi. The former offers Japanese dining with a dash of modern simplicity — various outlets also serve specialty menus.

Ichiban Sushi, on the other hand, exudes a casual and friendly ambience. Popular for its affordably-priced items ranging from sushi and sashimi to the more unusual kaminabe (mini paper steamboat) items, the restaurant chain delights diners at every occasion.
