Andsoforth is back with a one-of-a kind, Around the World in 80 Days Book Analysis Workshop.
Miss traveling overseas for a holiday? While commercial flights aren’t fully available (yet), Asia’s largest immersive dining company ANDSOFORTH is here. Coming up with a temporary solution to keep you entertained and sane.
Inspired by Jules Verne’s classic novel, where the eccentric Phileas Fogg wagers a bet to go around the world and back in just 80 days, ANDSOFORTH will be giving you a chance to better understand the literary text. In an exclusive yet intimate experience. However, make no mistake, this isn’t your ordinary run-of-the-mill workshop!
You will get a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the novel, the ANDSOFORTH style. Together with a team of professional facilitators, they will guide you through one wondrous room to another. Covering key scenes from the book, you’ will be going through a series of activities in each room. Activities such as from food tasting to drink appreciation to DIY crafts to mark each country you have “visited”.
Be awed by going under the big top, with a spectacular circus show in New York. Try making your very own popcorn-inspired dessert, before finally heading back to where it all began. Furthermore, check out the whopping 15 square metre map to see how you have ‘traveled’ around the world. Doing a quick ‘recap’ on the places you have travelled to. Finally, you will be escorted through to the favorite gift shop.
Rest assured that health and safety measures will be carried out. Prior to entry, temperature checks will be conducted. Take note that if your temperature is 37.5 degrees Celsius and above, you will be turned away. It is also compulsory to check-in with the government-mandated SafeEntry. Social distancing measures will be enforced throughout the experience, along with hand sanitizers in every room.
All facilitators will also go through a strict health screening and had to don a mask coupled with a face shield to ensure the ‘travelers’ safety is taken care of. While ‘travelers’ must always wear a face mask during the whole journey, except when consuming food.
